It is not uncommon for any software development to be extended past the plan. Even the best and brightest like those in the SQL Development Team at Microsoft are no exception. There are those who have argued that a major release every two years is too frequent anyway. While many of us always long for the next, newest, fanciest gizmo - I would prefer a little disappointment and delay in receipt, rather than an on-time delivery of a flawed product. I think they should keep it until it is ready...(But I wish it would be ready sooner.)
